Flower and Garden Festival

Enter a world full of spring wonder, fresh flavors, incredible topiaries, and fun interactive activities for the whole family!  Take part in the annual International Flower and Garden running from March 1 to May 29, 2017 in Walt Disney World’s Epcot.

Eat tasty treats from the outdoor kitchens offering farm-to-table plates. Wander the World Showcase and sample dishes and drinks from around the world.

Dance the night away to the Garden Rocks Concert Series that runs on weekends with different artists each weekend. Be sure to check the artist schedule to see which artist is performing each week!

Food And Wine Festival

Offering over 70 topiaries throughout all of Epcot. Highlights include topiaries of Anna and Elsa, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Enjoy special exhibits and gardens including Butterflies on the Go, Floating Mini-Gardens, and  the Illuminated Gardens.

Festival of the Arts

Epcot is debuting a brand new festival and showcases three artistic areas including visual, culinary and performing arts. The International Festival of the Arts runs Friday through Monday from now until February 20, 2017! This event is perfect for all ages with tasty dishes, captivating performances, and incredible artwork.

Culinary Arts

You can visit Food Studios throughout the World Showcase. Tasty highlights from the Food Studios include the Deconstructed Purple Sweet Potato Pie, Trio of Savory Croissant Doughnuts, BLT with Crispy Pork Belly, and the Classic Reuben.

Each different food station offers food in different artistic styles including Pop Art, Deconstructionism, Modernism, and Renaissance just to name a few.

Performing Arts

Be wowed by a variety of live performances! Your family can enjoy the Disney on Broadway Concert Series including Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Tarzan, The Lion King and more! Be sure to view the schedules of concerts before visiting the park.

2016 Food & Wine Festival

The month of September keeps getting better and better! Walt Disney World is celebrating its 21st year of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival from September 14 until November 14, 2016. You have the opportunity to experience over 30 global marketplaces and over 50 tasting stations offering culinary and beverage mixing seminars.

The Festival provides a variety of beer, wine, appetizer-size dishes from different countries including Germany, Canada, France, and Africa, just to name a few. Food is not the only thing the Food and Wine festival has to offer! Eat to the Beat is a concert series with some of the biggest stars in music. Enjoy funk and soul,  jazz, and even rock ‘n’ roll music. The 2016 Food & Wine Festival has fun and awesome activities for the little ones also. Halloween Magic

September and October are great months to visit Orlando. There are plenty of fun holiday events to choose from ranging from family friendly to downright terrifying. Dress up as your favorite character and trick or treat through the theme parks this fall!

If you’re looking for a family friendly event, Mickey’s Not-So Scary Halloween Party is the perfect option for you running select nights from September 2 through October 31. The kids will love seeing special character appearances from Jack Skellington and Sally, Alice, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts, Cruella De Vil, and many more rarely seen characters! There won’t be a dull moment all evening with villainous entertainment to choose from. The Boo-to-You Halloween Parade is a highlight every year with the Headless Horseman kicking off the festivities, Haunted Mansion dancing characters, and frightening floats to thrill you!

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular is another fantastic family friendly Halloween event that runs from October 1 through the 30. Little ones can spend the day trick or treating throughout the park, be fully immersed in a sea of fun, create fun arts and crafts together, and experience animal encounters all while having access to the full park. Special Halloween shows and dining options are available including Sesame Street’s Countdown to Halloween, a Meet and Greet with Cookie Monster or Dine with Shamu for brunch.

Horror lovers will die for Halloween Horror Nights. Scream through six different haunted houses including Texas Chainsaw Massacre, American Horror Story, Halloween, Krampus and more! Wander through scare zones around the park, experience live shows and ride the best attractions Universal Studios Orlando has to offer. This horrifying special event runs from September 16 through October 31. Be warned, this special event may be too intense for young children and is not meant for guests under the age of 13.

If you’re looking for another special event option geared to frighten, Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream is a great alternative. Experience a truly horrifying experience with seven different haunted houses to choose from. Walk through scare zones and escape the roaming hordes. You can also be entertained by scary shows and ride the best of roller coasters in the evening! This event runs on select nights from September 23 through October 30.

Frozen Summer Fun

In honor of the Olympic Games, head over to the Frozen Games at Blizzard Beach! Choose between Team Kristoff and Team Olaf as you take part in a snowball of fun. The games are held everyday between May 27 and August 21, 2016 at Blizzard Beach.

Activities include Ice Pail Relays, Slide Races, a Snowball Toss, Ski Pole Limbo and much more! The whole family will have a blast and all activities are included at no extra cost. The events start after park open and last throughout the day. Olaf and Kristoff will even host opening and closing ceremonies and can be seen throughout the day in the park.

Head over to Blizzard Beach to cool down before it’s too late!

Christmas Celebrations
